HIIT Tabata
Tabata, one of the most effective HIIT training methods, is a fast-paced cardiovascular workout that boosts metabolism, increases lean muscle mass, raises heartrate, and builds endurance.
Class consists of 4-minute rounds, with each round including eight 20-second sets of high-intensity work followed by 10 seconds of active recovery, to maximize energy output. Light and moderate weights, as well as other props, will be used throughout class. Modifications and options are always offered, for all levels. Sneakers required.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a method of low-impact movement and deliberate breathwork that targets the core muscles of the abdomen, hips, and lower back. Consistent Pilates practice facilitates improved posture, better coordination and balance, increased lung capacity, improved concentration and focus, stress management, injury prevention, and increased body awareness.
Incorporating Pilates into your movement routine will lead to an improvement in functional movement, allowing for relief from back, hip, or knee pain associated with physical imbalances, beginning with deep core engagement as the basis for additional full body work.
Pilates can be practiced at all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced, and helps to reduce pain associated with joint pain, sports injuries, and pre/postnatal issues such as pelvic instability. Pilates is often practiced by athletes and runners to improve performance and aid in injury recovery.
All exercises will be performed on the mat, and various light weights and resistance props will be used. Sneakers not required; open to all fitness levels; modifications offered.

Pilates Reformer & Tower- Private Sessions
All private sessions are personalized to each client; an initial assessment will be done during your first session.
Pilates Reformer exercises are a regimen of low-impact exercises that target the core, or “powerhouse,” muscles of the abdomen, hips, and lower back. These exercises are designed to improve flexibility, range of motion, coordination, strength, and balance. Incorporating Pilates into your movement routine will lead to daily life improvements like better posture, aligned and efficient movement, and relief from pain associated with physical imbalances.
Reformer exercises range from simple to advanced and are easily modified to fit every client’s needs and goals. The Reformer acts as a support system that helps establish proper form and alignment in a safe, effective manner that protects your joints. Reformers use springs attached to a central anchoring point, and exercises focus on using your arms and legs to push and pull against spring resistance on a moving carriage.
Reformer Pilates can be used successfully to reduce pain associated with back, neck, hip, knee or spine related problems, sports injuries, and pre/postnatal issues such as pelvic instability that leads to low back & sciatica symptoms.
The Tower is a vertical unit attached to the Reformer that uses a number of attachments, including arm and leg springs, pull/push-through bars, and roll-down bars. The Tower has springs in a variety of locations that allows the legs, arms, and torso to work directly with the springs. A stable platform makes seated and standing exercises easier, while providing an unparalleled stretch. The Tower helps to build strength, increase flexibility and muscular endurance, open the hips and chest, and lengthen the spine.
